Ross and i have been friends for years so we had fun running around town taking pics of him and his son Gunnar this past weekend. i've known Gun since he was 3... so crazy how much he has grown up!

yesterday was Jaxson's 1st birthday! so we did some portraits at his birthday party! Jaxson's parents are one of my couple's from a few years back - so fun getting to meet their cute little buddy!

ah madeleine, how i love thee! from our first meeting where she ranted about her exhorbitant electrical bill, i knew we were going to be a good match ;) i met justin for the first time at the engagement session - they are both so great and so much fun, i can't wait for their wedding in december! they met at Lavaca St. so we started our session there and worked out way around downtown.... here are my favs!!

it's taken me while to get up this blog post, as you can see it is huge!! i had a lot of fun putting it together! i love destination weddings, and i love napa - so this wedding made me very happy! :) what more could you ask for, beautiful couple, awesome venues and napa weather... just makes you feel lucky. the amazing Gina of CLINK (and Britt!) coordinated/designed this wedding - and my partner in crime was Stacy of SMS Photography (her blog post to come soon on her blog). we had a blast together, of course.

the rehearsal dinner was held at Rutherford Hill Winery in their wine caves and the ceremony was on the grounds of Beaulieu Gardens.

so, for the images in between my regular images... i love my new iphone..and i love the Hipstamatic iphone app... so i thought why not try out this app at weddings? the new phone has much more resolution so you can print them small and they are just so fun! i thought they would be a nice addition to my wedding images...i was obsessed at the wedding with these pics - and i even took all of my vacation pics with it - we all did!

some of you probably already know that i volunteer for pug rescue of austin... and that i have 3 pugs (and one crazy beagle!). Gina from CLINK recently wrote a blog post about our rescue that you can read HERE . it has some information on the rescue and lots of fun pictures of pugs or pug mixes that we have recently adopted out (like my foster baby Vinny (aka Pickles!) who went to Denise of CLINK) and of dogs still needing forever homes.

my good friend Angie and her daughter Bailey were in town staying with me last weekend and i warned her that they might be going home with a puppy - since i was fostering two 9 wk old puppies we had gotten from Town Lake Animal Center the week before... and, i knew, like me, they were big dog lovers (they have a dachshund and great dane). sure enough... they adopted Quincy (now Blaze)! here are some pictures i took of Bailey and her new baby before they left.
