....................If you have been checking my blog it looks like I haven't been doing anything for months! well, i am working on a new website and i keep wanting to add more things before i release it so it's taking longer than planned... in the meantime i have been posting my new work on my facebook business page and the new site (which you wouldn't know because it's not live yet!). Whitney and Geoff had their engagement party downtown at Parkside Restaurant on 6th street (great food if you haven't tried it!) Saturday night - they are getting married this fall in Austin. We put together a photo booth on the patio for those guests willing to brave the cold!

I'm so excited to announce that three of my best photographer friends (Heather of Eclectic Images Photography, Vanessa of Photography by Vanessa, and Stacy of SMS Photography) and myself are collaborating to form a new company called FOUR Studios! FOUR Studios is definitely a unique venture - we will each retain our own individual companies and provide photography services thru those companies, but we will additionally be offering collaborative services thru FOUR. For all of the years we have known each other, we have been talking about doing something like this, so the formation of FOUR is a natural progression for us! Working together while photographing gives us the opportunity to each focus on our individual strengths while photographing an event and also brings out our competitive natures which only serves to create better images.

So, while we each will still be available for booking our own individual events, we will also be available as two, three or four together to photograph weddings, events, and portraits. You can check out our FOUR website HERE!

what can i say about this wedding except that it was incredible! Madeline and Justin are both so great and they really know how to put on a wedding (with the help of the fabulous CLINK of course!! along with Primize catering, illios lighting, cresent video and many others). It all went down and Laguna Gloria Art Museum, David Kurio did all the floral and Blind Date was the band... it was an awesome team of vendors! My good friend from childhood (we've been friends since we were 7!), Stephanie, was in town with her kids this weekend so we did a shoot at my house! so fun, her twin girls were not so into the shoot as you can see...but they still gave me a few smiles... but really, the crying ones are my favorite!! Holly, the oldest, was a perfect model the whole time as you can see....love her.

i took some engagement photos of my cute friend Fanya (aka Fiona, by me) and her fiance Patrick today! they are getting married next june in New Orleans..so excited about shooting that wedding! my favorite city... there are also some super cute save the date pics to be posted eventually - but they are under wraps until everyone gets them in the mail!
