I shot Francine and Bryan's wedding 4 years ago so i was excited to get to see them again for this shoot with their dogs...they now have 4! Francine runs a rescue for the Japanese breed, Shiba Inu. you can check out the website HERE. we went back to the site where i first shot their engagement session years ago... they take their dogs to this park regularly. the dogs were much easier to handle than i was (and i think they were!) expecting and i think they had a good time :)

Newbie... their newest addition and such a cute boy...he's and old man and you would never guess it!!

Robin is getting married October 17th at One World Theatre - you can see more of her, with Huey, HERE on their engagement session. we brought in some fun furniture to the botanical gardens for this shoot... loved the blue, especially this chair. Robin's family came along for the heavy lifting. we were swarmed by mosquitos the whole time, i literally edited out about a dozen mosquitos just from these images, flying, on robin... on the dress... seriously - i need to remember to put some bug spray wipes in my camera bag!! regardless of the flying obstacles..i think we got some great stuff :)

had to start out with the shot of the shoes, love them! meredith and eric have been dealing with rain quite a bit for this wedding - our engagement session was almost rained out (check them out here ), but last minute it turned out beautiful - and their wedding day was no different... you never can predict an april/may saturday in texas! the wedding took place at the Four Seasons, and although they went with the rain plan everything still turned out great. Claire from Clink rolled with the punches and was cool as a cucumber (in a good way :)). Stacey Hogge of Petal Pushers did a beautiful job with the flowers and Ilios Lighting transformed the ballroom... like the purple :)

the groomsmen being funny... there was 'Plan B' on the back where the route was restricted to just texas!

Two of Austin's top wedding and event planning companies have merged - Clink and Soiree. Now CLINK - they revealed the merger at a surprise party on May 6th at a great store off 5th street - Threshold (very cool stuff if you haven't been there). I was excited to attend the party and take some photographs for the girls - Tanya, Denise and Gina...and all the other great planners that i have been lucky enough to get to work with and the others i have just met. thanks to all the vendors that helped make the party happen - Primizie, Illios lighting, Michelle's Patisserie...

i wish you guys great success with the new business (ad)venture and i look forward to working with you all again in the future!
