when my good friend maggie wanted me to come to florida to shoot her wedding, of course i had to go! we've been friends for over a decade and i hadn't seen her in a couple of years so i was excited to get out to Melbourne again... the wedding was held at River Rocks restaurant on the water, nice place with great food. i was there for 5 days, had a great time and couldn't wait to get back and play with the images. here are some of my favorites...

i was very disappointed in the dance floor turnout for Don't Stop Believin'..at least these two showed the appropriate amount of enthusiasm!

this is a first for me, Robin and Huey actually had a staircase built to attach to the balcony at One World Theatre for Robin to walk down for the ceremony!!

friends had dubbed the wedding the 'Huebin Prom' so we had a photobooth of sorts for a little while to take some 'prom-ish' shots!

i don't often get to second shoot anymore, so when New York based photographer, Karen Wise contacted me looking for recommendations for second shooters in the Austin area i told her i was open and would love to do it. second shooting is fun because you can be creative and have all the fun of shooting without the pressure of being the main photographer. We had a great time with Dorothy and Michael and i got to watch Karen work her magic...

we were getting ATTACKED by mosquitos trying to take portraits, so Michael was helping out his new bride with some cortisone cream...
